January installment of African album art: Putumayo

The company's motto? "Guaranteed to make you feel good". Indeed, that's exactly what the vibrant album covers, illustrated by Nicola Heindl, do.
Above are just a few covers from the extensive Putumayo catalogue. Left to right, top to bottom: Cape Verde, North African Groove, African Reggae, Mali, Congo to Cuba and South African Legends.
