Getting Down to Business at the 2013 Women of the World Festival (WOW 2013)

WOW bloomberg

Great things happen when women come together

In a little over a week, the 2013 Women of the World Festival at London's Southbank Centre begins. Last year was my first experience of WOW and I listened to a myriad stimulating talksI spoke and shared ideas, learned that I'm funny and embraced my reticent inner fashionista! I'm incredibly excited about doing it all again and this year's line-up of events is even more enticing than before.

No matter what you're into, you're likely to find sessions that will flight that fancy. Discover new ideas, participate in stimulating debate, take part in a hands-on workshop or sit back and listen to some great music. If you're intrigued by a great many things (as I am), you're going to have a difficult time choosing what to attend. Think of the weekend as a comprehensive life masterclass and soul-rejuvenating getaway …  all in just 3 days!

I'll be sharing my top picks for Afri-love readers over the next week, starting today. First up – it's all about business because I know what a bunch of ambitious and entrepreneurial folk you are. You can also look forward to the following editions:
