TGIF! with Ntjam Rosie

I recently discovered the wonderful Ntjam Rosie. Her second album, "ELLE" is inspired by artists like George Duke, Stevie Wonder, Patrice Rushen, Syreeta and Miriam Makeba. Artists who operate in the fields of soul, jazz and combine elements of Brazilian and African rhythms.

I love her style and her sound! It's the perfect thing for a mellow transition into the weekend. I hope you enjoy this incredibly beautiful (looking and sounding) video by Ntjam Rosie …

Thanks to broke_grove for the introduction 🙂

  1. Beautiful visuals and song. Her voice reminds me of Marie Daulne of Zap Mama. I am discovering her today, thanks for sharing. I’m gonna follow more of her stuff.

  2. Hey Mkuki – Now that you mention it, something about her voice does remind me of Marie Daulne’s. Glad you’re enjoying the discovery. The video really blew me away – it’s such a sensory treat!
