Inspired by Lola Faturoti

Digging the work of Nigerian-born fashion designer, Lola Faturoti. I like how she takes the patterns from relatively stiff African fabrics, like mud cloth and wax print ,and reproduces them in more delicate, flowing materials and contemporary cuts. Traditional with a twist.
